So yeah, for those who don’t know who GaryVee is, firstly, go watch one of his keynotes right away. Secondly, yup, the guy in the pic is him.
- Spent some 80–90 minutes with some buddies via Zoom talking of books we’ve read and branching off to other topics.
2. Also, not too long ago interviewed a ghostwriter/book coach/content creator, Helen Pollock. It’s a bit annoying how long Google Podcasts takes to have an episode on it, all the other platforms my podcast is on get my episodes running up and on them within just some 24–36 hours.
Some are even better. They get it up in just a few hours. By the way the following service called Dubsado sounds like a pretty handy tool for freelancers.

Helen- "So I go with my gut. If I have the feeling that this isn’t a good person to work for, then I won’t. And I also use a CRM system for creatives called Dubsado.
And so what I can now do is send out a proposal. And if the clients effectively clicks Yes, within the proposal, like 'yes, that’s what I want.' Then it generates a contract automatically, they sign that, it generates an invoice automatically and they can pay me there. Right then and there through that invoice in a couple of different ways, but it’s all instant.
And, I don’t start work for them until they’ve paid me. So that can either be a deposit or it can be for the full amount depending on what it is. And I find that really useful." (Slightly edited)
4. Working on another podcast episode. It should be ready soon, but I’ll be uploading it only after a few days.
Did my usual Harvard Review reviewing too. And apart from some listening to covers, a breakdown of the life of Ron Weasley, kpop and GaryVee, there’s nothing much I did really.
