Making Digital Magazines in Canva: Part 1

The first part will consist of what I found to work and not work currently in Canva (incl. both the mobile app and desktop site).

What works:

• Hyperlinks
• Inserting videos
• Attaching link to an image or any other element
• Can embed the magazine on a website
• Can add audio but don’t know how to pause it
• The digital magazine can be live updated from your Canva account and the changes will reflect wherever the magazine is embedded (you just gotta refresh the browser)

What doesn’t work:

• Gifs can be created but can’t be inserted in Canva
• You can’t make use of the “edit link" and “copy” option to use Pro elements in a non-Pro account
